Woodcutter's Daughter began in 1998 as a clothing design company, born from my love of travel, fabrics, fashion history, and background in theatre costume design. As I would travel the country doing trade shows, street fairs, and festival vending, I was not one to leave my hands idle, and so began teaching myself jewelry design. This was kismet, as I was that quintessential kid who had pockets full of river rocks and stones that I found while wondering through forests, and now could apply this love to finding ways to wear these treasures.

Woodcutter's soon expanded into clothing, jewelry, and interior design. When I decided to settle down a few years later and finish my B.A. as well as pursue a Masters of Medical Anthropology on the Northcoast, Woodcutter's specialized into jewelry design. Fastforward a few years, and my love of travel and anthropological background took me global, where I could bring home treasures that I found and incorporate them into inspiration for new designs and collections.
